Silver diamine fluoride is a liquid that your dentist can apply to teeth as a temporary filling material or therapeutic treatment in dentistry. This treatment can also be used to restore areas of early tooth decay. When a treatment plan is developed with your dentist, they may choose to apply silver diamine fluoride in addition to other restorative treatments to help strengthen your teeth and protect them against future damage.
